10 Razones por las que Sevilla enamora a los viajeros de Texas 10 Reasons Why Texans Fall in Love with Seville

LAS SETAS

Because here, the sun shines with pride

In Texas we know heat — but in Seville, the sun has attitude. It greets you every morning, gives you the perfect tan, and turns every walk along the Guadalquivir River into an Instagram dream.

Because its history leaves you speechless (and your camera full)

Between the Cathedral, the Giralda, and the Royal Alcázar, you’ll feel like you’ve time-traveled — just with better food and fewer cowboys.

JAMON IBERICO

Because tapas are the best idea anyone ever had

Can you imagine ordering a drink and getting free food with it? Welcome to tapas heaven — jamón ibérico, creamy croquettes, and no chance of going hungry.

Because flamenco is felt in the heart

In Triana, you’ll hear guitars, heels tapping, and voices full of soul. Flamenco burns with the same fire as a Texas country solo.

5. Porque los patios sevillanos son poesía floral

Because Seville’s patios are pure floral poetry

Flowers, colorful tiles, and fountains straight out of a fairy tale. Here, people compete for the prettiest patio — not the biggest truck.

TRAJES DE SEVILLANA

Because the April Fair is like a rodeo — but fancier

Horses, music, dancing, and laughter till dawn. Think of it as a Texas rodeo — but with flamenco dresses, sherry wine, and a lot more sparkle.

Because every corner has a story to tell

From Romans to Moors, Seville has hosted poets, kings, and explorers. Love adventure stories? Columbus set sail from here.

CALLE BETIS, TRIANA.

Because sunset from the Triana Bridge is pure magic

The reflection of the sun on the Guadalquivir is pure gold. It’s the kind of moment that makes you promise to come back.

FLAMENCO.

9. Porque aquí la vida tiene banda sonora

Because life here has a soundtrack

Guitarras, palmas, risas y conversaciones animadas. En Sevilla, todo suena con alegría.

Guitars, clapping, laughter, and lively conversations. In Seville, even daily life has rhythm and joy.

Because Seville makes you feel like family

People in Seville smile, ask where you’re from, and when you say “Texas,” they light up: “Oh, like in the Western movies!” Five minutes later, you’re sharing tapas with them. That’s Seville’s magic.

¿Listo para enamorarte tú también?

Ready to fall in love too?

Pack your boots and your camera — Seville isn’t just a trip, it’s a love story you’ll never forget. By the time you leave, your heart might just be half Texan, half Andalusian.

The Origin of TEX Spain Experiences

They say the best ideas are born between two worlds. TEX Spain Experiences began just like that — between the Andalusian sun and the endless horizons of Texas.
A group of teachers — with decades of experience teaching on both sides of the Atlantic — decided to turn their love for education, travel, and culture into something more than a project: into an experience.

For years, they worked in classrooms across Spain and the United States, building invisible bridges between students, families, and different ways of understanding the world. Today, they continue that journey between Texas and Seville, driven by the trust of the families they collaborate with and by their passion for sharing knowledge about group management and international educational programs.

No one knows exactly when the idea was born… perhaps one summer afternoon by the Guadalquivir River, or maybe during a conversation under the wide-open sky of Austin. What is certain is that since then, TEX Spain Experiences has become a meeting point for those who seek to live, learn, and discover — beyond borders.
